It has been an exciting Q2 at Oxford North, hosting many engaging events and welcoming the wider community to Oxford North. Certainly the ‘Building AI for Business – Hackathon’, run by the AI Centre for Business and the ‘Google Deep Tech’ events, along with hosting OxTech week activities being notable highlights for many.

Our fitted labs and state of the art 100-seater auditorium launched representing the latest milestone in our vision to create the UK’s leading purpose-built innovation district.

The fitted labs are purposely designed to support businesses at all stages of their growth, from start ups through to global corporates. The space is flexible, adaptable and fully fitted out, which saves time on fit outs and enables companies to expand quickly in line with funding and research milestones.

It’s been fantastic to see our beautiful auditorium in use for a series of exciting events; it forms part of our versatile community amenity space and it’s now available for hire for conferences, lectures, seminars and meetings. Aligned to this has been the continued growth of Taylors Oxford North. Taylors has just introduced a new £2 coffee offer and £7 lunch deal, which is well worth a visit. Our local neighbours are loving the cooled spaces, and connection to innovators and green spaces. We also have our fantastic new outdoor seating, delivered in partnership by Raw.

We are enjoying the daily connections with ecosystem colleagues using our free workspace. We have more than 20 workstations and a variety of break out spaces available in the Red Hall, adjacent to Taylors Oxford North and Fallaize Park. Do drop in and hop on our public Wi-Fi.

Looking ahead, we have a series of engaging events and activities across the summer, including the Series K run club, in collaboration with HSBC Innovation Banking on Thursday 9th July. Please follow us on LinkedIn to keep up to date on these and I hope to see you soon at Oxford North.
